What is a Doula? 

Doula is a Greek word that means a woman’s Caregiver. We are trained professionals that offer our continuous emotional support and physical comfort during and just after birth. We recognize and understand the physiology and emotional needs of a woman journeying through labor and into birth. We offer assistance to you and your Partner creating a comforting birth preference/ plan, and striving to carry out your plans as best possible. I will strive to facilitate communication between you and your partners care providers and offer objective viewpoints so you can make the best decisions. It is used to describe a well trained and professional birth companion who provides unconditional care and support for the pregnant woman and her partner. I offer continuous physical, informational and emotional support before during and after your birth also know as a perfect piece of P.I.E.
